This award honored our successful replacement of a retaining wall on a steep sand dune hill located directly above several San Francisco rowhomes.

We’re proud of this award for creating an attractive new entryway into the Bayview neighborhood, boosting local pride in an oft-overlooked neighborhood.

We were happy to upgrade this trail and see it named in honor of Phil Arnold, a longtime champion of local parks, trails, and open space who, sadly, passed away just months after its opening.

This project created a continuous nature trail through Golden Gate Park's northeast corner, helping to preserve some of San Francisco’s oldest Coast Live Oak trees.
