On this project, Yerba Buena cleaned up several homeless encampments at right-of-way locations along Highways 680, 85, and 87.

Our team cleaned up litter and debris, and we even constructed garbage chutes to help us remove the garbage from slopes more efficiently. We sprayed the debris with bleach solution before we could sort and bag it. Our hazmat subcontractor disposed of needles, human waste, and other hazardous waste. We and our tree removal subcontractor cleared vegetation, trimmed some trees and removed others. We repaired drainage culverts, and our fencing subcontractor installed wrought iron, expanded metal, and chain link fencing.

We also provided traffic control and landscaping and placed boulders in strategic locations to remove access to the road shoulders.
